Basic Photography Course: 3 - Get completely white background
White backgrounds in photography often used in photography of objects or persons for commercial, fashion, catalog, or just get white backgrounds estéticas.Para purposes each can choose the method that suits you in terms of the means at its disposal and their photographic skills. I will explain two methods I've used (I use the former more than the second) and one that I thought we could use easily, but I have not yet implemented.
Get pictures with white background on white card:
Obviously if we get white backgrounds it is more practical to position the pattern on a background photograph you can check blanco.Como exif data of photos of the blog, always with the camera shooting mode exposure metering, which means the camera captures the light reflected from many points of the scene captures (from the picture box) and make half to get exposure correcta.El problem we have is that the cameras are set up to assess the exposure to light reflected from a neutral gray surface (with 18% gray). This means that try to regulate the exhibition as if all the elements reflect light as if they were gray. We know that white reflects light and a lot more black luz.Si reflects virtually no white light reflects much more neutral gray, the camera subexpondrá the scene to try to make that amount of light in a more comfortable for her, a neutral gray getting results like these:
We see that the bottom of the picture but it has become clear, it is still gray and the spikes have been slightly underexposed imagen.Para the whole we do to solve this is to provide values to the camera overexpose the scene, ie, exposure compensation at as many points as we wish. I usually shoot in aperture priority and then I do is make two points of exposure (+2 EV) to get the white become white.
