You know what I'm talking about those annoying emails you get from people who have never heard of, trying to sell you stuff you do not need. If everybody hates spam, because we understand? Well, not everyone hates spam is the fact that many people buy things they see in the e-mail spam.

Spamming is illegal, and authorities are getting better at catching spammers. Many times, spamming is done by professional criminal organizations. Spam is big business, and generates millions of dollars each year. In order to circumvent the authorities, spammers will rent their botnets to spam for them.

Obviously, there is a lot of dangers involved in using the Internet. However, it should not be so. We live in an age of uncertainty. If you are completely protected from all forms of identity theft, hacking, viruses, spyware and phishing just makes life easier.
