Every visitor to the website is a valuable potential clients. It 's been hard work to get that site visitor there in the first place, so you should make every effort to encourage the potential client back.

A newsletter is perhaps the best tool to bring people to your website. To have a newsletter just a simple form on your website to collect email addresses and a user's email client. That's it! Once you have a few people to send you a newsletter too, try to think of ways that might provide useful information to potential customers. Games in Flash or JavaScript may be quite simple, but very funny. Perfect examples are those Orbitz ads. If you do not know what I'm talking about, Orbitz has ads flash game that include golf, pitching, driving dirigibles and other fun things. They are very simple and are designed to get more shots of repeat business, as the games are the ads, but on a website, similar games would get return visitors.

Contests are great for web promotion and brining people back to websites. Persons entering the competition you can sponsor will want to come back to see if they have won. Moreover, if the user enter a competition, people want to come back to see the winners - especially if you won! You can also get people sending word to their friends of your competition. Viral marketing, where friends tell friends and so on, is extremely effective.

Boards can become a second home for some people. If you have an active card, people will come to your website just to see what people have posted.

Whatever your choice, make sure you give them a reason to return .......
